MIRI: Gymkhana Club Malaysia (GCM) is organising the GCM Inter-Club Age Group Swimming Championship 2011 starting July 16 to 17at the GCM Swimming Pool.
A total of 150 swimmers from six teams will be taking part.
They are GCM (41 swimmers), KRP Swimming team (43), MICIA Swimming Club, Brunei (21), Island Club Sibu Swimming team (22), Royal Brunei Recreation Club (11), and PJMS Sandakan Swimming Club (12).
The competition are divided into five age groups of boys and girls?15 to 17 years, 3 to 14, 11 to 12, nine to 10, and under eight.
According to organising chairperson Liza Chai, the prizes are sponsored by Sports Toto .
Also present at the press conference were Miri Sports Toto area sales executive Joseph Tan Kok Loke, GCM chairman Norman Ingka and club manager Michael Lau.
